Comes with a protective pad for the console and straps to help adjust from water bottle larger container. There is a charge for veneer beverage container sits about 2 deep into cupholder to prevent tipping over. It fits perfectly into the coin box below armrest and has dual Velcro on shank to help hold in place.
So much better than original factory installed cupholder. Suggest not filling beverage container all the way full and using a lid. Holds water bottle, Starbucks containers, most travel mugs, soda cans, solo cups. People did not want to buy vehicle due the cupholder and this solved problem.
Special veneers are available ie piano black and coffee burl any of the colors you see on attached charts. I know Bmw doesn't like putting cup holders in its cars, but if you're me and can't resist the morning mocha, this is best thing there. The cupholder has legs that sit on console and gives it stability.
Its a well thought out design. Its awesome. My cup holder has the Velcro, and, yes, it works great. Solve your cupholder frustrations.
Opening is lots of good references on bummest. Its perfect for my morning coffee. The cup holder also works really well.
These are made specifically for the E39 Bmw. You should be able to on the charts and print them out take vehicle compare. Otherwise they come as shown in black. Shown without veneer.
My wife wanted me to mention that she really likes the fact you can adjust size of holes with straps so use her water bottle on side.
